Orders and Confirmation

You can select products directly from our online store at www.silkeatextil.com.
Once you complete your order and the payment has been successfully processed — including card payments, bank transfers, or cash on delivery — your purchase is confirmed.
You will then receive an email with your order summary and payment details.

Note: In the rare case that an item becomes unavailable or cannot be supplied after your order confirmation, we will notify you immediately and offer an exchange or a full refund.

We comply with EU GDPR regulations. Personal data is used only for order processing and customer service. We do not share your data with third parties except for logistics or payment services. You can access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your data at any time. See our full Privacy Policy for details.

Payments & Shipping

We accept major international credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other cards supported by Global Payments’ secure system.
All card transactions are processed through Global Payments’ 3D Secure 2 (3DS2) protection and meet EU security standards.

SilkeaTextil does not store or process any payment information — all payments are securely handled by the authorized payment gateway.

We also accept bank transfers and cash on delivery (Dobierka) within Slovakia only.

Please note that cash on delivery orders include an additional handling fee of €1.50, which covers the service charged by the courier company (GLS or DPD). This fee is included in the invoice and collected as part of the total order amount; it is not collected separately by the courier at delivery.

Yes, all prices on SilkeaTextil are listed including VAT (Value Added Tax) for sales within the European Union (EU).

For shipments outside the EU, additional taxes, customs duties, or import fees may apply according to the regulations of the destination country.

SilkeaTextil is not responsible for these charges.

Within Slovakia and the European Union, we ship orders using reliable courier partners such as DPD and GLS, ensuring fast and secure delivery.
For overseas or non-EU destinations, international shipping can be arranged upon customer request, depending on the destination and available logistics options.
Shipping costs and delivery times for such orders will be communicated and agreed upon individually before confirming the order.

Note: SilkeaTextil is not responsible for delays or damages caused by the shipping company, provided the items were properly packaged.

Orders can only be canceled if the item is still in stock and has not yet been shipped. Once your order is confirmed, we may not be able to change it. For cancellations or changes, please contact us immediately at info@silkeatextil.com

SilkeaTextil shall not be liable for delays or failure to fulfill orders due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, regulatory restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Returns & Guaranteed

Returns can be requested within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Products must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.

  • All tags and labels should be intact.

  • The product should be returned together with the original invoice.

Please note: Handmade, custom-made, or personalized items (e.g., hand-painted silk or made-to-order pieces) cannot be returned.

All returns are processed by Global Business Group Slovakia s.r.o.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless the return is due to a verified manufacturing defect.

Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you by email whether your refund has been approved or rejected.
If approved, your refund will be processed automatically to your original method of payment within 7–14 business days.
Please note that processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or bank.

Refunds are issued only for eligible returned items (unused, undamaged, in original packaging).
Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the return is due to a verified manufacturing defect or an error on our part.

Product Quality & Warranty Policy

Each SilkeaTextil product is handmade using traditional techniques and dyed with up to 99% natural pigments. Because of this artisanal process, slight variations in color, pattern, or texture are normal and should not be considered defects.

Before shipping, every product is individually inspected and photographed as part of our quality control procedure. A “Checked and Verified” seal is then applied to the package, confirming that the item has been examined and found free of visible defects at the time of dispatch.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects only. It does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Incorrect washing, drying, or ironing

  • Use of bleach or harsh chemicals

  • Contact with alcohol-based liquids or solvents

  • Tumble drying or exposure to excessive heat

  • Prolonged exposure to sunlight or humidity

  • Mechanical damage, tearing, or normal wear and tear

Verified warranty claims are processed within 30 days. Depending on the nature of the defect, the product may be repaired, replaced, or refunded — at the Seller’s discretion.

Important: SilkeaTextil products are delicate. Please follow the care instructions carefully. Damage caused by improper use, cleaning, or maintenance is not covered under warranty.
